Headline should be edited for accuracy. This is unlikely "Microsoft's reply".

Original: "Microsoft's reply to abc.xyz (abc.wtf)"

This doesn't seem to be Microsoft. If it is, they're going through great lengths to hide it:

Look deeper, it looks like a off-the-shelf WHOIS guard. The registrant is "WHOIStrustee.com Limited". They didn't really have to go many lengths.

It could be anybody who paid a dollar to hide it.

Any indication that this is actually Microsoft?

No valid cerificate on https://abc.wtf WTF!

It just redirects to bing.com... I don't get it.

I really like Microsoft lately. Whois suggest that it isn't their domain though (but they could be just playing it safe..)
