NayuOS is related to the chinese word "Nayu" which implicitely means "Open the Universe".
Nayu is also the name of Nexedi subsidiary in China, in Shanghai Free Trade zone.
That's awesome, that there's a word for an action that from a logical perspective is a no-op.
Actually, it is a combination of "na" (inspire/open/...) and "yu" (universe/world).
Darn it - I was going to assume they chose to name the project after myself =)
Maybe you pronounce it as 'new'? That's about all I could come up with.
