I've had malware show up in Google searches too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to block Google.

Any site that is big enough and hosts user content is eventually going to have malware in it somewhere.

Or maybe malware is yet another way to cover up government censorship.

Or you could download the malware yourself.

I don't know if WikiLeaks tries to remove malware from its dumps, but Google definitely tries to block malicious sites.

Google search result pages are not static resources that can be spidered. Wikileaks' content is.

Google has flagged itself for malware before so it's not totally unreasonable (but it is pointless) to do so.

They would surely have noted that as the reason if it were the reason.

Which would be a nice excuse for Facebook so I am surprised that they haven't used it.
