The first attacks were described as only lasting minutes. Is this the perpetrators stopping? If so, why? In case people start to notice their 'smart' lightbulbs are glowing unusually bright? Otherwise what else stops the attack?
I doubt you'd notice a difference on the device unless you were doing something network/CPU intensive on it, even then, it'd just seem slow.
