I'm also not thrilled with the current round of Apple hardware. The main thing that will keep me on MacOS for this round is that I really like the extra modifier key. Dropping it means I have to change up all my keyboard shortcuts and/or reconfigure everything to use the windows key as super or hyper. I'll overpay this round and see what's up in 5 years.
