$5000 Reward: Help Us Find Web Developers

• We are offering a reward of $5000 if you can find and introduce us to a web developer who we hire as the third team-member for our startup. If you introduce us to someone who we hire as a 4th-8th team member, we will pay you $2500.

• We are looking for a specific role: a very competent technical lead who can shape both the tech culture of our startup and the trajectory of our startup. We can assess their competency once we meet them in person.

• Please share it to whoever you think might be a good fit. You can also email kojikondo@stanford.edu and request a PDF of our detailed job listing to send out to candidates.

Overview

We are a stealth-mode web startup based in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles and we are looking for web developers. Our goal is to create an entirely new economic ecosystem and infrastructure that will allow hundreds of millions of people to derive their income from focusing on their passions full time: a unity of work and life.

Culture

We believe that all team members should have opportunities to explore, cultivate new interests, and do fun activities outside of our startup; therefore, all team members are required to pursue one hobby during the workday! One member takes gypsy jazz guitar lessons to play like Django Reinhardt, another bakes French baguettes, another practices martial arts, another volunteers at a silent film theater, and another audits a seminar at Stanford on intellectual history. This is all in addition to the time that we devote -- during the day -- to reading, attending concerts and viewing films. We don’t believe that “being busy is a badge of honor” and that one must work long hours to be productive. We want to create a fun environment where people love to learn and explore. And our goal of unity of work and life is inherent in all facets of our startup, from our goal to our culture.
