Thanks, I liked The Century of the self which was, as I just found out, made by Adam Curtis ..
will definitely check out his other stuff ...
In general? Any specific subjects?
Any subject would do I guess, I loved The Inside Job and some works from David Attenborough ..
Anything by Alan Watts.
Alan is an amazing speaker, but he tends to ramble a bit. I would suggest reading "On the taboo against knowing who you are" as a fairly tight (~150 page) condensation of his ideas.
Haha.. I have to admit, I can only take him in small doses. What he says is wonderful and it does make sense, but it can be intense. Definitely need some time to pause or just "digest" some of the things he is saying.
