“No programming language has come close to C or C++ when it comes to efficiency." Really? This is obviously false. You don't have to reach for the "hip" Rust to see that. There is a reason lots of math libs are still implemented in Fortran and not in C or C++ that are clearly unparalleled in their efficiency.

"I love C because it involves a lot of hardware manipulation. You can play with a lot of cool sensors, embedded systems and control actual physical things."

This isn't even a statement about the language.
