Thanks. Is there an easy way to check if something's been posted earlier - especially when the URLs are different?
Most people don't bother, most people don't care. I put the cross-references because I don't like to see the discussion split between sites/submissions/pages. I prefer to see a coherent discussion in one place.
There's no problem with submitting different articles about the same thing, sometimes the better article is only found later.
