Ok - first thought I had was a big model castle made out of pennies

That's ambitious. My first thought was a stack of $1000 bills an eighth of an inch high :D

My first thought was a medium sized shed, maybe with a cement floor.

But what color would it be?

Red of course.

The shed will be used to store bicycles, yes?
