Yea but most platforms, that garner any attention, are not actually anonymous in ways that would protect the person releasing the information.
The full-disclosure mailing list has been around 20 years and has no problem garnering attention. Sending an anonymous email in that direct with no way to track back isn’t particularly difficult.
