Ask HN: What are good resources for teaching a blind student Python?

A blind student is joining my graduate program and has expressed an interest in learning Python. The student is completely new to coding. I know Python well and I would like to work with him but have little idea how to be useful.

What Python resources out there are accessible to a blind person? Previously I've recommended [Code Academy][1] to beginners but I have no idea if that platform works with a screen reader.

Are there any special Python libraries or tools I should be aware of that would help me help the student?
