I thought Blitz in the US mostly had connotations to Football, not Nazi war tactics. Ubermensch was a nazi ideology too but no one seems to be losing their shit over Uber
"Uber" in English has the meaning of "superior" but somehow it didn't take on the negative connotation. Same with "blitz". It comes from "Blitzkrieg" but somehow it's ok to use it in other contexts.
