Apparently one of the reasons for removal of all NSFW content from tumblr was the sheer amount of CP on it - someone on reddit wrote a whole comment about it. Basically people created lots of blogs linking to other CP content, which was re-shared, but even if the original blog was deleted you could still see the re-shares and find the original content.
