this may sound harsh, but, not everyone can be an astronaut- someone's got to make the french fries.
Go out and get an 8-5 job, make some money, become independent and work on your project on the side.

Getting a job right now is like preparing for the astronaut exam, not taking it, and deciding to make french fries instead. While making french fries I'll constantly be wondering whether I would have passed the exam and become an astronaut.
At the moment, the pressure put on myself to become independent and self-sustainable is less than the pressure to finish this project.
