Ask HN: How to build a chat room?

Hi Hacker News!

You have always been helpful in our times or need and we need you once again!

We need to build a chat room and we were just wondering if anyone has any experience doing this and wanted to share their experience or if they could point us to any good tutorial on the web or just give any reasonable advice!

Thanks, Ryan
