Ask HN: Sales/Marketing Strategy for Enterprise Fund Data Management Solution

We are the proud owners of a software solution called Fundipedia which has some of the world's premier financial institutions as customers (e.g. Barclays).

Through word of mouth we've recently experienced rapid growth and acquired a handful of new customers.

We wish to capitalise on this momentum and use the names of existing customers to continue to grow.

Our problem is that we know which companies might benefit from Fundipedia but we don't know how to find the right people in those companies to speak with and how to approach them.

I'd love to hear from anybody with any experience in this area of enterprise sales, particular in the financial industry. Are we destined for trade shows? Should I hang out on Linked In? Is there another method that I'm unaware of?

Thanks
