The dashboard will be scratched up, the interior might start smelling, the tires may be worn out. The wipers may need to be replaced. At some point you're replacing everything.
A new battery will be pretty close to the price of the entire used car. Im not sure that is a valid economic proposition.
I’m sure that will create a market for certified battery replacement workshops.

I can find e-Ups for 10000€ (new 26000€). A new battery will most likely cost 10000€ too.
Tesla battery is $6500. I doubt other EVs can get much lower.
