Ask HN: Anyone else still plan to use H.264?

It seems to me that H.264, despite its patent entanglements, is still by far the best choice for video encoding. It's the only codec supported on every major platform (considering native support and/or Flash player support).

What are your thoughts? Will you continue to use H.264 for the foreseeable future?
