Ode to Mercury

on gallilleos shoulders i stood ,

400 year old these shoulders stood,

               long dead they breath life,

upon this perch our celestial spirit resides,

and upon them optical engineers and our cohorts,

                buttressed by one mans inspiration,

and before him zupis & timocharis and more,

never shall we know their names,
from them messages sent to the stars,

and from the stars to us ,

their spirits return.
