I think it's a bit rude to say it was stolen. It's a pretty obvious idea, and as the crush notifier author wrote in his blog post, he never expected it to get so popular, it was just a weekend hack project.

You say you were featured on TechCrunch, yet I can find no link to your article. Do you have any proof that he "stole" your idea?
