I am (geniunely) struggling to parse/interpret the comment, and I've tried for a while... any elaboration/explanation would be appreciated :-/

Both are direct quotes from Snow Crash, illustrating the prose comment.

Ahh, thx; I recognized the 2nd but not the first and assumed they were a related message as opposed to a quote.
