If, like me, you're trying to parse this terrible headline and wondering when Trump started posting on Facebook, he doesn't. It's a reference to Twitter, which Facebook owns.
Never ascribe to fake news what can be explained by sloppy journalism.
Facebook owns Twitter?
Dammit, apparently not. Apparently FB tried to buy it but failed.
So, now I really don't understand the headline.
I'm not sure it's referencing any actual Facebook posts by the Trump team. It's discussing the protest of the FB employees with respect to Zuckerberg's statement that FB--as a policy--would not label/block posts as Twitter has done.
So it's a virtual walkout to protest Zuckerberg's policy on something that's never going to happen? (Guess we could all use a good chuckle about now...)
It _is_ happening. That’s the impetus.
I'm referring to Trump posting on Facebook. If that's happening, it's news to me.
president presenting inflammatory misinformation on his Twitter. Twitter put warning on tweet. zuck defend president. people mad. people should be mad since, you know police seem to kill them for being brown skinned.
That seems like common knowledge, but I suspect that actual veracity depends on who counts as brown-skinned. (And rather than split that hare, I wish we could work more on universal uplift.)
IF FB owns Twitter, then they own a minuscule portion. Here are the top owners [0].
