The target audience is developers though (for now) not poor people. I don’t see developers sticking with it long term (and say contributing fixes) if they get frustrated by everything being annoyingly slow (eg browser tab switching)
The ultimate number one thing to do with this device is turn off tap to click. With that off the trackpad is okayish but still crap. i actually enjoy tap to click on Apple and Thinkpad trackpads. The keyboard is good enough and better than most laptops. not mechanical keyboard good but good in a 50g sponge-ish way. Display is a typical 1080p matte IPS screen (aka a minimum requirement for display specs for some but still within the range although at the low end.)
I will say it is valuable to have as a developer. I find it helpful to work off of a slow device sometimes to test how your widget will work as you might run into issues with timers or other weirdness, and aarch64 is somewhat becoming more common - so it might be good to test on that platform too.
I like the concept. Just think they missed a trick there.
