Needs a section on engineering research, specifically energy. Cleaner energy and energy distribution is the #1 global concern, in my opinion, and has been for a long time.

yes! i know this is a hyperbolic example, but infinite clean energy would clear up a lot of problems on this list.

I always thought it was worth dedicating an hour or 200,000 to the subject myself.
