Who’s Behind Monday’s 14-State 911 Outage?

I can already see same outage on November 3, day of the election.

Microsoft's cloud went down, taking all dependent services with it.

People have been saying this for decades: do not depend on Microsoft for mission critical services. Just did a quick search for an early Microsoft licence to no avail. IIRC, the license specifically stated that one should not use the system for any application where a human life hung in the balance.

Would appreciate any source for an archive of Microsoft license agreements.

I was going to say: adding the word "who" here is kind of clickbait.

RTFA. The article covers why this wasn't Azure related.

Or keep on beating the same old drum while the rest of the world has moved on.
