Submission Statement: I imagine this is going to get flagged for politics, but when I saw the article I thought about how surely there's something that could be done to mitigate this damage: e.g. a centralized online resource with the aim of reconnecting separated family members.
Yeah, there are so many better ways to handle this, but the people in power specifically wanted to hurt children in order to discourage immigration.
