For those unaware, like myself, of what quantum volume is [0]. Looks like great progress.

Sounds more like a quantum area to me...

It's actually a measure of complexity since bits and qbits are apples and oranges. The volume measurement also includes error rates, connectivity and crosstalk.

So, it identifies the largest square circuit, but doesn't define it.

Tricky wording.
