I wonder how do you would define what is and what isn't 'hate speech'? Where would you draw the line on identifying what falls under either of these categories?
As for Discord Inc, it certainly lives up to its etymology I guess. Permanently banning those that they disagree with.
TheDonald and the rest of the 'banned' will just use open-source platforms instead.
> I doubt they're innocent.
So guilty until proven innocent? Oh dear.
90% of "free speech" is just hate speech with an excuse
>Where would you draw the line on identifying what falls under either of these categories?
T_D brigading other subreddits... numerous times. And the endless transphobia, racism, sexism and homophobia? That's not "innocent".
>As for Discord Inc, it certainly lives up to its etymology I guess.
They are silly for using Discord in the first place. Discord isn't open-source, why use it?
>Permanently banning those that they disagree with.
A problem we see with many platforms. We must make our own. I like ruqqus.com and saidit.net.
>So guilty until proven innocent?
They haven't provided anything, other than a notice from one user that they were banned. And with the group's past history... there isn't much nice to say about them.
>Oh dear.
Oh dear, indeed.
