Ask HN: How to work on real business data from companies

2 pointsMarcoSanto2 comments

Hey HN, I am looking for a real business case to use as a capstone project for a DS/ML course I am doing at General Assembly.

If you are interested or you know anyone who might be, leave a comment here or signup on this form: https://forms.gle/TB4wBnAp46YMjQYf6

I am willing to exchange about one-man month of work for attribution and endorsement.

Cheers!

Hi Marco. It's not clear what you are asking for or what you are offering. Maybe I'm not your target audience though...

I have to complete a DS/ML project to graduate a course. I would like to work on a real business case and not a made-up one. I am not sure where one takes real business cases to work on to train models. I don't think there is place where companies ask for freelancers data scientists.

I thought maybe if there is a company interested in having me work for them for about a month, I will gladly work on their data instead of try to come up with some realistic sounding dataset.
