Evergreen is a Taiwanese conglomerate that owns several freighters (along with an airline, hotels, god knows what else)

Hehehe okay, I'll take the downvote and repeated comments :) Serves me right for not thinking twice! Genuinely didn't occur to me that it might be something other than a typo that went rogue. Ho hum.

"Evergreen" is the name of the shipping company.

"Ever Given" is the name of the ship and written in smaller font on the bow and (always) on the stern.

Evergreen is the shipping line which owns the ship. I guess they name their ships Ever <something>.

I think Evergreen is the shipping company. The name of the ship could be Ever Given.
