Ask HN: How do you unstuck with your newsletter as a tech writer

I have around 13 year of web development (mostly front-end) and finally decided to do some tech writing as well. I feel comfortable to do so now. I have a self-hosted blog.

The problem is my personal newsletter. It’s growing very slow. Are people overwhelmed with such newsletters? Or is there any working strategy in conjunction of creating great content?

I am feeling a little bit discouraged after one year of writing. Posting monthly. That’s my maximum.

Have you been there and is a common trap? How do you cope with that situation? I will appreciate any advice from writers able to unstuck.
