Other things going on in the ecosystem right now that might be related, outside of the rumor that some big SEC charges are about to be announced (haven't seen anything myself):

BTC hash rate dropping due to Chinese power outages/blackouts due to some safety inspections (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26849652)
