I am so much more free to accomplish the things that need to be done in any part of my life. Whether that's writing code, doing the laundry, or finishing a side project. Everything happens when it is the optimal time for it (apart from the few mandatory team meetings)
I hope every company continues to relax their WFH rules because it is so much better for so many people.
Somebody's just decided that every company email from Sundar needs a public article within an hour that totally strips out all relevant context.
They start quitting in droves, even at the core of several projects and. . . suddenly the change we want? Just happens.
It isnt even a concession. There's less costs involved all around.
