While we are solving for the larger problem by building games teams can play together within Slack with our product called Bored, this is our attempt to bring some fun and banter to everyday standups on Zoom.
There are 30 different icebreaker backgrounds, one for each day of the month. The scrum master puts up a new one everyday and everyone answers the question on it for some good old banter.
Would love to know what you folks think.
I wanted to know what the program looked like live, but I couldn't find an actual screenshot (just the mockups). I think it would be a good idea to have a few screenshots of the actual Zoom interface with people playing the game. Otherwise there's no way for me to get a sense of what it feels like without waiting for a group of people to play with.
What is the license? If I use one of this backgrounds in a talk, can I upload it to YouTube?
Yes, please go ahead use it in the talk, upload on YouTube and use it wherever else you want :)
You should read all the possible licenses to ensure that people can use it as intended, but can not use in unexpected ways.
For example sometimes people choose CC0, and then get angry when other people redistribute it without attribution.
I suggest to take a look at https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/ and once you have a rough ideas ask here for advice.
