How does the app perform now?

I don't know anything about react native and from my (limited) experience with titanium, I'm not a fan of js based "native" apps.

That being said, I didn't know the iOS app was react native. I don't use coinbase much but it feels pretty good.

I'm wondering in hindsight if titanium wasn't so bad and I just didn't have a firm enough grasp on js and CSS.

IMO before react native came on the scene there were no well performing hybrid app frameworks except possibly xamarin. So it likely wasn't your fault

I call BS. I just downloaded it and it works fine. Literally every single one of your comments has it out for this transition. I trust my own experience and their data.

Try to create account, input some gibberish, see "something went wrong" dialog and close it.

And define "fine" first. If you mean that it works, sure. But it works slower than truly native application, like Telegram.

By "fine" I mean it does what I expect it to, doesn't throw bizarre errors and hasn't crashed (so far). Could it be faster? Sure. Does it bother me? Not even the slightest. So many apps I use regularly run much slower than this.

This is the error that most web devs make. Their definition of fine is so low, that they can't comprehend reasoning why web tech is inferior on mobile.

LOL. So now my standards are not high enough? Everyone should program in C. Definitely one of the fastest. So we can all serve your highest standards.

Nope, on Android you'll have to interface with native toolkit anyway. Even if you write everything in C. Just follow the platform instead of fighting it.
