Stephen Farrell – The Encryption Debate

The secure enclave slide is pretty interesting. If the people proposing these ideas misunderstand cryptography so much how come we haven't seen a law requiring something that technically misguided?

Also, I will say that this is all a moot point unless people have root on their devices. As long as smartphones are popular in their current form things like encrochat are going to keep happening (even signal could be abused this way.)
