How to opt-out of Amazon Sidewalk

It's absolutely infuriating that this relies on the Alexa app rather than being possible through amazon.com or an Alexa command. Talk about a dark pattern. One of my housemates has an Echo but has never installed the app.

I'm sure there are folks here who work at Amazon. What do you think about these things?

You need the latest version of the Ring app to be able to see that setting and it’s super sluggish (on purpose?). It took several seconds to open the Sidewalk page after I tapped on the menu item, no spinner, no feedback, it felt like it was bugged.
