Had the same thing, visiting again seems to fix it.

Sending large amounts to yourself is a tactic to make it look to victims as though others are cashing in on the deal. There's nothing to suggest this wasn't the case here. Holding 400k in BTC during a bear market suggest the scammers have gotten quite wealthy though.

Does anybody know why the article redirected me to this link https://array/?u=%E2%80%A6&o=%E2%80%A6&m=1 ? am i hacked?

Way more lucrative than ransomware, that's for sure. And not having to worry about the FBI or tainted bitcoin either. As it turns out, you can make more $ scamming random people, than high profile targets and getting unnecessary media coverage that blows open the operation. They are bypassing youtube's filters by having the first 30-60 miutes of the live video play random stuff and then switching to the scam video

How is $400k more lucrative then millions? and haven't you heard of Monero and other similar coins?

that is just one video and one wallet. they are running videos all day. And also, the typical business ransomware payout is only 100-150k.

I think that Twitter is the primary source for this scam.... (and they should be held responsible)

I want to say that the average is nearing $300k, still lower than this example.

Hmm, I wonder if we’ll see a John McAfee last-message deep fakes scam.
