This is derangement. Byuu spent all of their time maybe ‘poorly’ dealing with harassment along with being a huge contribution to emulation circles, you’re equating cancel culture to them for what reason? Because they didn’t say anything about your favorite conservatives? This logic goes nowhere and so there’s simply no discussion to get out of this. God knows how many social or financial conservatives are on this site and still no one believes you.

I’ve seen the thread myself, this was not gossip and you guys do not act as moral arbiters just because one end of ‘cancel culture’ didn’t harass a key developer in emulation just because they were transgender. I’m not even going to entertain the ‘pedophilia’ claim. You people aren’t fooling anyone here, you can’t even fool /vr/.

You're willing to dismiss his problematic views (pedophilia) because of his contributions to the gaming community? Funny how that never applies to the FNAF dev when he gave $2k to a milquetoast republican politicians.

As with all of you people, you deny your bad actions while exaggerating and lying about your opposition. The archives show that he (labeled himself with those pronouns) was never targeted for being trans, he was targeted for pedophilia.

Get the fuck out of here, monster.

I’m willing to dismiss their “problematic views” because the only “problematic views” they were harassed for in that thread was being “a troon” and “extorting” Null, and now that all hell broke loose, they’re suddenly a “Pedophile”. You can name all the victims of ‘cancel culture’ that I don’t know of, it doesn’t change anything here. You guys harassed them and cheered when you were blamed and now you’re justifying it. You’re no better.

Kiwi is back up, you might as well give up on this account and head back now because this is not the hugbox you expect it to be.

You guys also cheered on Zoe Quinn during the Gamergate bullshit. Alex Holowka is dead because of Zoe Quinn and the mob she riled up to go after him. The only "proof" that anyone had was just Quinn saying "Yeah I don't like him and he did stuff to me!" Y'all cheered on a woman who made an innocent man kill himself.

What about the millions of Redditors who caused a man to kill himself because they doxxed him and made people think he was one of the Boston bombers? Again, you people gatekeep and point fingers at anything that goes against the grain. It's ridiculous.

Byuu is a pedophile, the proof is right fucking there, we've known this before 2020. Why the hell do you people do this bullshit? Have some compassion for ALL people, not just the people who agree with your same political bullshit.

Who’s “you all?” Do you have a thread of people on Hacker News, contrarian central by the way, ‘cheering’ on Zoe Quinn and Alex’s death or are you cherry picking moments that simply went against your ‘grain’? Is that why you signed up two days ago?

Read between the lines sweetie: You guys harassed Byuu and cheered when you were blamed and now you’re still finding ways to justify it. I’m a grown man sad to see an emulation developer gone. You’re no better than any other harassment hive mind.

I know what a ‘cub’ is and knowing your ilk I wouldn’t be shocked to find 2D teen ahegao porn on your hard drive, if you actually had substantial proof you would have let japanese authorities know. Too late for that though huh

The lowlives are now all creating accounts here to come and try to justify their depravity. Liars and sociopaths, the lot of them.

Unlike you, they aren't self-unaware hypocrites who constantly harass others only to whine when it's done to them. You're doing them a favor because they don't need your respect.
