Ask HN: Free custom website builder suggestions?

3 points·parataparata··5 comments

I am working on a project to build a website. Is there an option to use drag and drop features to build front end in one week? I need sign-up form and a custom workflow catering to my product for this website. Please suggest.

I recently launched "Scaffoldly" last week for just this purpose and am looking for some early adopters that would like to kick the tires.

I've built the automation to handle a bunch of the nitty grittys, API Templates & Web Portal Tempaltes, Auth API, Serverless, etc.

I'm marketing it as a "SaaS builder" but it also works great for small projects on a budget as well.

It's free and open source, so should do well for a project you're starting, and I can definitely help through any snags you may hit!

If you're interested, start here (https://scaffold.ly), let me know if you have questions here! Or join our Slack.

There are good options for this, but they aren't free.

What kind of project is it?

I am using post x gutenberg blocks plugin on wordpress to create the blog homepage. Gutenberg blocks are very light and do not slow down the sites like page builders.

You can check my site here how it looks

let me know if i can help

you can use elementor free version to create most of the sites. but its slow down your website. Wordpress GUtenberg is also drag and drop.

Just install Kadence blocks and GetWid block plugins on wordpress and you can create any type of site easily. without page builders
