Ask HN: Alternative to Paid Gmail with Support?

After dealing with Google Ads support (their core business!), I'm concerned about relying on them for email.

Are there any good paid alternatives that have good support?

My main concern is randomly getting locked out and then getting the runaround from their useless chat support.

If their support is bad when I'm trying to spend thousands of dollars per month, then I can imagine how much worse it is when I'm only spending $10 / mo for Gsuite.
