Email Forwarding Is Bad: Why you should never forward email

It’s an interesting variation of the clickbait technique. Put an obviously false statement in the headline, over an article that does not claim what the headline does.
But the reader does not see the title of an article in the context of the not-read-yet article, so if it’s generally false, then it’s false. And “pretty much anywhere” is not true either; if I forwarded all mail to my own server, nobody would know about it but me. But no harm done. Personally, I’m not as offended as some seem to be about clickbait.
Retrieving email from 300 addresses is a huge pain to set up and keep working. Forwarding email from 300 addresses is easy
Infact my email forwarder doesn't even change the from header, all gmail sees is mail from my forwarder's IP address, (which I have manually marked as trusted) from scammer to my mail. Ofc this means my forwarding service has low deliverability, But I don't use it for sending outgoing mail.
It’s not a literal email forward with “FWD:” in the subject line.
It just replaces the To: and sends it to the new address.
Maybe you have your forwarding set up incorrectly, but with the forwarding I set up through cpanel, this isn’t an issue.
This is one of the funny things about the email spec is that the FROM field can be set to anything, so it’s really handy for forwarding.
This also seems like a fairly obvious fix for email providers, to detect forwarded mail and assign blame to the real sender? Idk.
It's the worst way of communicating with people. Personal messages get lost in a sea of receipts and marketing emails. Conversation chains are hard to follow, and it's so easy to lose or not be aware of important bits of information.
Given that we're using the internet, not ARPANET, email kinda sucks, right? (I've sent 5 and received ~20 today)
I think it’s reasonable to expect that sender-controlled messaging ends up in this state, particularly when the messaging platform is incentivized to support this model.
