(Shut the Fuck Up has apparently been Shut the Fuck Upped.)
TLDR,
Defense Attorney: Don't talk to the cops.
Cop: Yeah, what he said.
Cop: how many sped in your cars on the way here?
Audience: a few hands go up
Defense Attorney: I JUST TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK TO COPS!
I have no qualms regarding speaking with police in Australia. I don't have fears of them planting evidence or tripping me up on something. But that might not be true of all Australians, I guess.
Over and over, until they are bored and give up trying to intimidate you.
You have the right to remain silent. For example, you do not have to answer any questions about where you are going, where you are traveling from, what you are doing, or where you live. If you wish to exercise your right to remain silent, say so out loud. (In some states, you may be required to provide your name if asked to identify yourself, and an officer may arrest you for refusing to do so.)
