I wish there was some kind of soaking in period with laws like this (maybe even all laws). Something like

“Those who implement new laws are first themselves subject to them for one year before being rolled out to the general public.”

Perhaps it might slow the descent into an insane techno-dystopia.

Of course that would never happen though.
