This is interesting. At first I didn't know what to make of it, seeming a bit like C++ on top of ActiveX that I dealt with a long way ago. On further consideration I can see how this could be much more like C# and .Net but for Linux. I used to never look at things that didn't have GC where performance wasn't critical seeing as how Go and Java have fared. Seeing Rust (and Swift) be well received changes this too.
I wish the best for Vala, GObjects, and the Linux (desktop) platform. Can this grow to be like NeXTSTEP NSObject and all that came of it, but with something that performs better than Objective-C?
