The average avocado is 150g but even if we were being extremely conservative and said 10 avocados = one kilogram you’d still be at less than 1/3rd the water requirements of pistachios: 3,200 liters vs 11,360.

Regarding transpiration, could growers build a cheap "greenhouse" over their grow areas? Consisting if nothing more than a clear plastic sheet in a dome form?

Allow condensation to collect on it and then collect it and reuse the water like a solar still?
