Show HN: SimpleUPC - Simplest Way to Add Product Lookup to Your Apps

Tell us what you think! If you have questions -- shoot me an email at jason@pushpinsapp.com.

We have over 120,000 products from 15,000 brands and nearly 5,000 manufacturers. The closest thing to this is from a company that charges nearly $100K/yr.

We want this to be accessible to app and web developers.

Wow, did you actually assemble all that data, we've been looking for an affordable database which has all this for over a year. Thanks!

I've been playing around with the beta for a few weeks. It has come a long way. It is by far the best data set I've found so far.

What nutrition information do you have? I want to try this out for my nutrition tracking app.

This is something I would use. I tried UPCDatabase but half of their information is wrong.

How do you keep the database current? Almost 25% of products are updated each year.

Great database! Glad somebody finally built an API around grocery

This looks cool. Now I want to build a mobile app.

This looks awesome. Nice work.

Looks great!
