I can't put my finger on it, but the title is misleading. When I saw it I assumed attackers were tracking the target's Airtag as it moved through an environment, instead AirTags are being used as a GPS vehicle tracking device.
English aside, this is a way lamer attack than I thought it'd be.
I’ve seen some people calling for Apple to take AirTags off the market and recall them… I don’t think that would be great. What does HN think?
