Age group 30-39 has higher risk from pfizer than positive covid-19 test, if Im reading this table correctly, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-021-01630-0/tables/1 ouch.

Table 1, which your comment currently links, does not show any information about risks, it is the baseline characteristics of the study population.

The percents are the portion of the demographic that the row represents.

So for example, when first dose of Pfizer is broken down by age, 36.4% of the participants were 30-39.

And with moderna, 16-29 agegroup risk is 41.4 with vaccine vs 24.4 covid. Wow.

But the TL;DR says "take the vaccine its better than covid". Statistics and damn lies.

Edit: See comment below, I put the wrong column in. It's still dozens of deaths per case of myocarditis (just not as many dozens).

Prior to vaccination being widespread, in the UK, deaths among 30-39 year olds were 185 per 100,000.

So dozens of deaths for each case of vaccine induced myocarditis.

That's total deaths, not the death rate, which was 28.9 per 100,000.

How do they know how many cases of myocarditis should be in unvaccinated people that didn't contract covid? They don't measure that themselves.
